AdDU’s Indie Film

Our school, Ateneo de Davao University has already decided to make an upgrade. From musical stage plays, to Independent Films. Thanks to technology.

yatta.gif The movie represents the trilogy of life. Which happens to show pain, laughter and love. Three things that we are most likely to experience as we journey through our life. The movie is entitled “Ang Tatlong Mukha ng Buhay”. Which is true, since life seems to be a prism that has 3 surfaces, 3 faces. The first scene was entitled “Panalangin”, about two teenagers falling inlove with each other and they also happen to be the answer to their prayers. The second scene was entitled “Ang Pagbabalik”. The struggle of an eldest son on how to fit himself to the standards of his family, a struggle to belong, and a struggle to make his parents proud of him, but he didn’t succeed, instead he died since he has an ailment which wasn’t really revealed in the movie. Though I think it was a heart ailment because he kept on tightly holding on to his chest. And the last scene was about the life of a little boy and how he lived his life with all the learnings he had from experience. The last scene was entitled “Ang Buhay ni Abelardo Macaspag III”. I really do believe that we should save the best for last. And yes, this scene was the most favorable and the most enjoyable of all the scenes. The little boy’s(Abelardo) acting was totally awesome. He was really funny and we really had fun watching the show. Plus, it was totally fun since most of my teachers where present in the scenes.

I can really say that I had fun with the movie and that for me it was indeed a success. More power to Ateneo de Davao University High School Department. Lastly, Kudos for Ms.March de Ramos. She’s the brain behind the marvelous presentation.

Thanks for this – mukhang maganda yung pelikula. Is it out on DVD yet? Magbibilin ako sa mga kasama kung uuwi ng Pinas. Lately, we’ve been watching Filipino films – nakaka miss din kasi ang wika at sining natin.

    Happy Valentines na rin 🙂

Di ko po alam kung pwede ito bibilhin. Haven’t inquired pa. Hehe. But if ever they sell copies, i’ll let you know. Pero mukhang medyo malabo na ilalagay ito sa DVD’s and ibebenta. Kasi own production ito ng school namin 😀

Wow – which school do you go to? My daughter also attended some workshops in NIDA – a school of performing arts here in Sydney. They do mostly stage performances, and she appeared in Le Miserables (one of the bar girls). This helped her later when she was casted as Tuptim in the King & I.

First to comment – wow (sorry ah – bininyagan ko).

I hope you really did not delete your old blogs. I have no idea what you wrote – but they would be true expressions of your feelings back then. It should be worth keeping. If you wanted to keep it private – so be it, but it should not be deleted. It’s like burning a book – a sacrilege 🙂

(I’m assuming that you former blogs had some unpleasant feelings – as you had to make promises to your mum to make it pleasant this time around.)

I am currently studying at Ateneo de Davao University. 🙂

I don’t know. She made me delete everything. My blogsite and all. Actually, this post and “The Charmed One” are from my old blogsite. Yeah. It’s hurtful to delete those especially the site since I already gained thousand hits and almost a hundred comments in just two months. But that’s that 😀
